On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga
written and illustrated by Yuu Hashimoto , “ 2.5 Dimensional
Seduction ( 2.5-jigen no Ririsa )”, a new
promotional visual for the project was revealed. The press release listed that
the premiere remains scheduled for the Summer-2024 season
(July-September) and that the series will last two consecutive
courses (six months of continuous broadcast).
Additionally, a special video was also revealed announcing
two new members of the voice cast, including:
- Sayumi
Suzushiro as Nonoe.
- Sayumi
Watabe as Aria.
Yuu Hashimoto began publishing
the manga through publisher Shueisha 's Shonen
Jump Plus digital service , where it is still in serialization. This
is the first work of the author Hashimoto, so no background can be established.
Sinopsis of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction
“I'm not interested in real girls!” So says
Okumura, the president of the school's manga club. He is your typical otaku, obsessed
with a sexy 2D (fictional) manga character known as Lilliel. Then the new
school year begins and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa, whose passion is
cosplay, joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer,
and guess who her favorite manga character is. And not only that, Lilysa likes
to model fetish things! The lines between 2D and 3D begin to blur as this
hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds.
