This article includes spoilers for the
“Jujutsu Kaisen” manga. Reader discretion is advised.
A few days
ago we reported that fans of “ Jujutsu Kaisen ”
were already becoming “immune” to the constant deaths that have been shown
during the most recent arc (which is also the last) of the manga. Thus,
when the Chapter 260 leaks finally hit the Internet, most did not expect the
surprise they ended up encountering.
As always
happens on a day of leaks, several names from “Jujutsu Kaisen” became a trend
on social networks and surely continue to be so. What happened that was
so exciting even for fans who had lost hope?
Well, the
chapter begins with Aoi Todo, who considers himself Itadori's best friend,
revealing his new left arm where he carries a new instrument that now allows
him to activate himself with a completely different method. Now instead of resorting to
clapping to activate the Boogie Woogie Technique, he can do it through this new
tool that allows him to make up to 50 exchanges per second.
Following
this revelation, Todo and Itadori begin launching combined attacks against
Sukuna, and the King of Curses is unable to mount a defense against this
unpredictable new power. In fact, Sukuna finds it practically impossible to adapt to the
Boogie Woogie Technique, and keeps receiving attack after attack from the duo.
But what
made these leaks viral was what came right after this. When Sukuna
thought he had adapted to the rhythm, he fell victim to one of Mei Mei's crows
and Itadori gave him a Dark Flash across the chest. Itadori takes
advantage of this to go through Sukuna's body and start destroying it while he
maintains a completely unexpected expression.
And when
Sukuna tries to expand his domain again, he sees something that leaves him
speechless: the silhouette of Satoru Gojo's ghost on Yuji Itadori. “Those eyes are unmistakable,”
writes the note at the end of the chapter.
While it's
definitely exciting, we shouldn't forget that this still follows the cycle of
developments that Gege Akutami has been using in this latest arc: The
sequence of a new character arriving, starting to fight Sukuna, and gaining an
apparent advantage is already in place. has seen on multiple occasions. In
fact, what would follow is that Sukuna eventually adapts to this new power that
threatens him and ends up killing the sorcerer (which in this case
would be Todo). Will the author resort to this resource again in Jujutsu
Kaisen?
