The manga has been a resounding success, surpassing 18 million copies sold and winning awards such as the “Next Manga Award” in 2021 in the comics category. Its anime adaptation, released in April 2023, was also a huge success, boosted by the opening theme “Idol” performed by YOASOBI, and the production of a third season has already been confirmed.

Additionally, the “Oshi no Ko” universe will continue to expand with the premiere of a live-action series on Amazon Prime Video on November 28, followed by a film in December, and a stage play scheduled for the same month. With a wealth of projects and a loyal fandom, “Oshi no Ko” is poised to leave a lasting mark on both the manga and anime industries as its creators continue their respective creative journeys.
