The official website for the You and I Are Polar Opposites ( Seihantaina
Kimi to Boku ) anime, based on the manga by Kocha Agasawa ,
announced that the series will premiere in January 2026. Studio Lapin Track , known for
such works as Undead Girl Murder Farce and Koichimin
Series , will be in charge of animation.

The manga, a romantic comedy that debuted on
Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus platform on May 2, 2022, concluded
last Monday. The work began as a one-shot in January 2021 and quickly gained
popularity, achieving multiple recognitions, such as third place at the 2023
Manga Taisho Awards and second place at the 2022 Next Manga
Awards . To date, the series has surpassed 1.35 million copies in
circulation.
The manga has been collected in seven volumes to date,
the last of which was released by Shueisha on August 2, 2023. The series is
currently available to read via the MANGA Plus service since
June 2022, but only in the English language for now.
