This Sunday it was announced that the long-awaited
second season of the anime My Happy Marriage ( Watashi
no Shiawase na Kekkon ), based on the successful light novel series by
Akumi Agitogi, will arrive on Japanese television on January 6, 2025. There is
still no official date for its premiere on Netflix worldwide. The
announcement was accompanied by a new promotional visual, a teaser, and the
reveal of the opening and ending theme songs.
The opening theme, titled “Shiawasena Yakusoku ,”
will be performed by Riria , while the ending theme, “Tsukikage
Okuri” (Moonlight Sending) , will be performed by Kashitarō It o,
whose single will be released digitally on January 14.

The original light novel series has sold over 9
million copies , with a manga adaptation, which has been published
since December 2018 on Square Enix's Gangan Online site , and
a live-action film released in March 2023, which grossed 654 million yen in its
opening weekend.
My Happy Marriage Synopsis
Born into a noble family with supernatural abilities,
Miyo Saimori had a difficult childhood after losing her biological mother and
living under the abuse of her stepmother. When she receives the news that she
is to be married off, her hopes of escaping her sad life are shattered when she
meets her fiancé: Kiyoka Kudou, a military commander known for his ruthless
reputation.
However, Miyo soon discovers that her fiancé is not
the monster she imagined. As they both open their hearts, they realize that
they might be the key to finding true happiness in their lives.
