On the
official site for the anime adaptation of Cool-kyou Shinja 's
manga , “ Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon ( Miss Kobayashi's
Dragon Maid )”, a promotional video for the next film in the franchise
was revealed. This film will be titled “ Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid
Dragon: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved ” and will adapt the
well-known “ Kanna Kamui Arc ”, with its premiere scheduled
for next June 27, 2025 in theaters in Japan.
The
statement also included comments from the voice cast:
- Yuuki Takada (voice of
Elma): Dear
humans! Dragons! It’s like a dream to be able to meet again. The fact that
I get to play Elma again is all thanks to everyone who has continued to
love Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon . Thank you so much from
the bottom of my heart! I watched the trailer and felt a lump in my chest.
I’m looking forward to the day when I can meet everyone in Maid
Dragon . Following Elma’s example, I’m going to eat delicious things,
sleep, work, and then eat again to prepare for filming. I hope to have

- Minami Takahashi (voiced by
Lucoa): First

support Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon ! It’s a movie! When I

If she's with Kobayashi and everyone else, it's sure to be something as
intense and warm as a burning fire. With a renewed mindset, I'll enjoy the
process as I portray Ilulu with great care and affection in my own way.
- Daisuke Ono (voice of
Fafnir): Ever since I was asked to be the narrator at the presentation for
the new project, I've been very excited. But at the same time, I also had
some doubts. Will Faf appear? When I received this request for comment, I
was relieved. But at the same time, more doubts came to me: Will he have a
lot of scenes? I don't have the script yet, so I'm very nervous. You guys

For its
part, Cool-kyou Shinja has published the manga in Futabasha 's Monthly Action magazine since
May 2013. The anime adaptation currently has a total of twenty-five episodes
(plus a variety of OVAs), produced by Kyoto Animation studio
and released during Winter 2017 (January-March) and Summer
2021 (July-September) .
Synopsis
of Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon
As
Kobayashi prepares to start a new day at work, she opens the door to her
apartment and is greeted by an unusually terrifying sight: the head of a dragon
staring at her from the balcony. Immediately, the dragon transforms into a
beautiful, busty, and energetic young woman dressed as a maid, who introduces
herself as Tooru.
It turns
out that the stoic programmer had crossed paths with the dragon the night
before on a drunken excursion into the mountains, and since the mythical beast
had nowhere else to go, he had offered her a place to stay at her home. Thus,
Tooru had arrived to take advantage of the offer, willing to repay her savior's
kindness by working as her personal maid. Though deeply regretful of her words
and reluctant to keep her promise, a mix of guilt and Tooru's incredible dragon
skills convince Kobayashi to take the girl in.
