The isekai will be reborn with My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's

A press release listed that Matsuri Akai ’s light novel , “ My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s (Ansatsusha de Aru Ore no Status ga Yuusha yori mo Akiraka ni Tsuyoi no da ga),” is getting an anime adaptation premiering in Fall 2025 (October-December) . The release also revealed the voice cast and production staff for the project.

Matsuri Akai began publishing the light novels through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2017, and Overlap has been publishing them in paperback with illustrations by Tozai since November 2017. A manga adaptation by Aigamo has been published through the publisher's Comic Gardo service since July 2018.
