In a previous news report , we reported that the anime " The Catcher in the Ballpark! ( Tsukamaete's Ballpark! )" was already scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 1st. Now, during the AnimeJapan 2025 event, a main promotional video has been revealed that gives us a better look at the series and previews the opening theme song, "Hurray!!", performed by GENIC.

The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and five affiliated networks on April 1 at 12:00 a.m. (technically, April 2 at midnight in Japan). It will also air on AT-X and BS NTV, and will be available on Japanese streaming services such as ABEMA, Lemino, and Anime Times, with more platforms to follow. Additionally, Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the series as it airs in Japan and that the official English title will be "Catch Me at the Ballpark!"

The studio in charge is EMT Squared , already known for this type of low-profile production.

  • The story follows an office worker who, tired of his routine, finds solace in baseball games. One day, after buying a beer from a vendor, she strikes up a conversation with him, beginning a series of encounters that change his life.
