In a previous news report , we reported that the anime
" The Catcher in the Ballpark! ( Tsukamaete's
Ballpark! )" was already scheduled to premiere in Japan on April
1st. Now, during the AnimeJapan 2025 event, a main promotional video has been
revealed that gives us a better look at the series and previews the
opening theme song, "Hurray!!", performed by GENIC.
The anime
will premiere on TV Tokyo and five affiliated networks on April 1 at 12:00 a.m.
(technically, April 2 at midnight in Japan). It will also air on AT-X and BS
NTV, and will be available on Japanese streaming services such as ABEMA,
Lemino, and Anime Times, with more platforms to follow. Additionally,
Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the series as it airs in Japan
and that the official English title will be "Catch Me at the
Ballpark!"

- Tatsuro Suga began publishing
the manga through Kodansha publisher's Morning magazine in September 2020. Previously he was in
charge of other works such as "Katabira Shizuku wa Lead Shitai!"
and "Macmillian Koukou Joshi Koushiki Yakyuubu."

Inomata as Kotaro Murata, Ai Fairouz as
Ruriko, Ikumi Hasegawa as Aona, Kou Bonkobara as
Anthony Brian, Jin Urayama as Ryuichi Igarashi, and Maaya
Uchida as Kohinata.
- The production team
includes Junichi Kitamura as director, Shigeru
Murakoshi as scriptwriter and script supervisor, Fumio
Iida as character designer and animation director, and MONACA as
soundtrack composer. The studio in charge is EMT Squared ,
already known for this type of low-profile production.
- The story follows an office
worker who, tired of his routine, finds solace in baseball games. One
day, after buying a beer from a vendor, she strikes up a conversation with
him, beginning a series of encounters that change his life.
