A press
release listed that Shichio Kuzu 's light novels ,
" Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! ( Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni
Skill Nanka Iranakatta n da ga - Sainou Zero no Nariagari )", is
getting an anime adaptation. The release included the main voice cast,
production team, and a premiere date scheduled for sometime this year
in Japan.
On the
other hand, Shichio Kuzu began publishing the story through
the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in November 2017,
while the publisher Earth Star Entertainment has published them in paper
with illustrations by Yumehito Ueda since July 2018. A manga
adaptation by Akio Nanae has been published through the Comic
Earth Star service since November 2018.

In a
world where everyone is given a Class and Skills at age ten, and where such
revelations have a huge impact on each person’s life, Arel, the son of Sword
Princess Farah and Archmage Leon, learns that he has… no class! With no class
and no skills, all Arel can do is work hard. So he sets to training, using his
wits and cunning to become a new kind of hero.
