A press
release listed Masuo Kinoko 's light novels , " A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai ( Sozai Saishuka no
Isekai Ryokouki )", as getting an anime adaptation. The release
revealed the production team, but did not include a scheduled premiere
date.
Masuo Kinoko
began publishing the light novels through the AlphaPolis publishing
service in December 2017, with illustrations by Senbon Umishima .
A manga adaptation by Tomozo has been published through the
same publisher since November 2018.

Takeru
Kamishiro is an ordinary guy with an ordinary office job, but he finds that he
has been summoned to another world. Takeru begins his new life in “Madeus,” a
world of swords and magic, fully equipped with multiple skills! Not only does
he have an enhanced physique and amazing magical abilities, but he also has the
power to “search” for valuable items. With the cheating skills he has been
given, Takeru begins his new adventure in the new isekai!!
