A press
release listed that Nekoko 's light novels , " The
Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System ( Tsuihou
sareta Tensei Juukishi wa Game Chishiki de Musou suru )", will be
getting an anime adaptation. The release listed that the premiere is
slated for sometime in 2026 in Japan , and listed details of the voice
cast and production team.
Nekoko began
publishing the story through independent publishing in April 2021, and
Kodansha began publishing it in print in June 2022. A manga
adaptation by Brocco Lee is scheduled to be published in
the same publisher's Young Magazine in February 2022.

"Damn,
useless son! You were supposed to be a master swordsman, but I never imagined
it would turn out so tragic!" On the day a boy turns fifteen, he must
undergo the Ritual of Divine Blessing. Already a descendant of a family of
master swordsmen, Elymas was supposed to succeed his father. However, he is
given the defective class, the Heavy Knight, and not only loses his status as
the future leader of the family, but is also exiled.
