Everything
is ready for the premiere of the live-action "Mieruko-chan"! After the reveal of the first promotional video
and the June 6 premiere date, more exciting details have now been released. The
official website has shared the first full trailer, the final poster, and a
making-of video, in addition to announcing that the title track will be
"Ghost" by Korean group BABYMONSTER.
As for the
cast, Nanoka Hara (from Suzume and the live-action Oshi no
Ko) will be in charge of bringing to life Miko Yotsuya. Joining
her are Rinka Kumada as Hana Yurikawa, naenano as Yuria Niguredou ,
and many others, including the group SixTONES with Taiga Kyomoto
playing Zen Tohno . Additionally, the director and screenwriter
is Yoshihiro Nakamura , known for Fish Story and A Boy and His
Samurai.

- Tomoki Izumi began publishing the manga " Mieruko-chan " through Kadokawa 's ComicWalker digital service in November 2018, where it remains serialized. The series has reached over 85 million views, with over three million copies in circulation in Japan. The anime adaptation was produced by Passione Studios and aired in the fall of 2021. Although the series was well received, a sequel has not yet been announced.
- The story centers on Miko
Yotsuya, a girl who, since one fateful day, becomes the only person
capable of seeing invisible monsters that walk among humans. To
continue with her school life, Miko chooses to ignore them, even though
she sees them lurking around her, even interfering with the lives of her
friends, like her best friend Hana Yurikawa. Despite her fear,
Miko strives to remain calm and protect those around her, without letting
the specters affect her too much.
