Following
the airing of today's episode, production of a fourth season for
the anime adaptation of " Re:ZERO - Starting Life in Another World ( Re:Zero
kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu )" was officially confirmed. The
statement did not reveal production details or a scheduled premiere
date , but did include some comments from the main voice cast members,
which included:
- Yusuke Kobayashi (voice of
Natsuki Subaru) commentary: Did you think we’d have to wait another 4
years?! I won’t make you wait any longer!! So, production for the fourth
season has been decided! Nostalgic characters appear, Subaru isn’t wearing
his hoodie, there are people who were once enemies, Julius has a somewhat
melancholic expression… Just the teaser visual alone brings out all sorts
of emotions! I can’t wait to see what scenery the next season will show
us. Please look forward to the broadcast!

commentary: After three seasons of Re:Zero, this is indeed the first
announcement of a continuation right after the end of the anime's
broadcast...! I understand that the impact of the final episode was great,

- Tappei Nagatsuki began
publishing the novels independently through the Shousetsuka ni Narou
service in April 2012, and Kadokawa began publishing them in print with
illustrations by Shinichirou Ootsuka in January 2014. A total of two
seasons and a variety of OVAs have been produced for the anime adaptation,
all by WHITE FOX studios, with a third season recently concluded.
- The voice cast includes Yusuke
Kobayashi (Natsuki Subaru), Rie Takahashi (Emilia),
and other important figures from the anime.
- The production team includes
names such as Masahiro Shinohara (direction), Masahiro
Yokotani (script), Haruka Sagawa (character
design) and Kenichirou Suehiro (music composition).
- The story centers on Natsuki
Subaru, a young man who is transported to another world, where he faces
various challenges as he struggles to save the people he loves, discovering
in the process a mysterious power that allows him to return from the dead ,
but with each return, new tragedies lie in wait for him.
