previously reported, Volume 37 of the manga " Komi Can't
Communicate ( Komi-san wa, Komyushou Desu )" has
been released in Japan, which includes Chapter 500 of the work (the
true final chapter of the story). Leaving aside that this chapter
explained a bit about the development of the characters in the near future
(specifically during their college years), the author's notes were enough to
become a trending topic on social media.
In his
commentary, after nine years of publishing the story in Weekly Shonen Sunday
magazine, author Tomohito Oda revealed that he has no concrete plans to start a
new manga now, although he does intend to continue drawing in the future. For now, the author wants to
focus on his family, specifically raising his son.
Now that
the series has concluded, it's important to remember that to date, no
announcement has been made regarding the production of a third season of the
anime. In
fact, there isn't even a leak that would set a precedent for raising fans'
expectations. The conclusion of "Komi Can't Communicate" could mean
bad news for fans, especially since it's rare for a manga adaptation to
continue, especially several years after the most recent season.
