life with voice and movement. I don’t have enough words to thank the team
working on this adaptation. I hope that not only those who have
already read the manga, but also those who are meeting Marie for the first time
through the anime, can enjoy this story .”

Voice cast
- Nao Touyama plays Marie , a former martial arts
genius who now works as the exclusive "mechanical servant" to
Arthur, an heir who despises humans. The voice actress commented:
- The main attraction of this
work: It's
a crazy romantic comedy! Within the absolute condition of "not
letting them find out she's human," love slowly blossoms, and that
stirs up a lot of emotions. Although there's always a sense of danger,
there are also carefree moments that make you laugh. But the most
important thing, I think, is the warmth of loving someone and feeling
loved by someone.
- On playing Marie: Although Marie is
expressionless, inside she's a riot of emotions—joy, anger, sadness, and
amusement—and she always gives her best, which I find endearing. Although
others call her a "robot," deep down she's a warm, kind, and
sincere girl. Her innocence as she falls more and more in love with Mr.
Arthur is incredibly charming, so I want to be a big part of her.
- Haruki Ishiya plays Arthur , the heir to a powerful
conglomerate, who is constantly targeted by assassins due to a fierce
battle over the inheritance. He avoids all human contact, except for
Marie, the "mechanical maid" he relies on. The voice
actor commented:
- About Arthur's
character: Arthur is someone who has been hurt many times by people, so he
doesn't trust humans and lives with a strong emotional shell. However, as
he interacts with Marie, he gradually begins to show a softer side, which
makes him a very interesting and endearing character. He's a serious guy,
but he also has a lovable side, so I'd love for you to notice that while
watching the series.
- On playing Arthur: Marie and Arthur have a very
special bond that develops between a human being who pretends to be a
robot and another human being who doesn't trust humans. I want to
carefully express that emotional shift that occurs in Arthur, when he
begins to see Marie not just as a "servant," but as someone
important to him. I hope I can faithfully convey Arthur's emotions and
growth, and that everyone can enjoy his evolution throughout the story.
Synopsis
of Mechanical Marie
Rich,
handsome, and successful, Arthur Louis Zetes is no stranger to people's greed.
Always distrustful of those around him, he has lost all faith in humanity, so
he makes a very particular request: a perfect maid... a robot maid. However,
his butler is unable to procure such a maid for him due to technological
limitations, so he finds the next best thing. Marie Evans is a former martial
arts prodigy, known for her complete lack of expression.
Drowning
in debt, she immediately accepts the offer to be a maid who acts like a robot.
Although Arthur is usually brusque with humans, he can't help but pamper his
"personal robot"; in turn, Marie is moved by his determination and
thoughtfulness. Kikaijikake no Marie follows the comical daily life between a
millionaire heir and his mechanical (but human) maid.
