Today,
March 19th, the new series " Märchen Crown "
launches in the latest issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine. This project comes
with a super team: Akasaka Aka, the creator of "Kaguya-sama: Love
is War" and "Oshi no Ko," teams up with Aoi Kujira and Ajichika
(the art director of "Record of Ragnarok") to tell a love
story between a prince and princess in a world filled with magic.
In this
week's issue, fans can enjoy two episodes: Chapter 0 "Itsumademo Shiawase
ni" and Chapter 1 "Akogare no Sekai," with 64 full-color pages. Plenty of content to get you
started! They've also released a promotional video to celebrate the series'
launch.
The
story takes place in a fairy tale world, where a girl lives in a giant tower
and an ordinary boy enters her life, unleashing a destiny full of surprises and
magic. Akasaka
Aka, known for his successful works, now dedicates himself exclusively to
writing manga. Aoi Kujira, meanwhile, is famous for her series "Geek
Circle Crisis: Hime no Koi-ji wa Bug Darake" on the Tonari no Young Jump
service, and Ajichika is in charge of drawing the popular "Record of
Ragnarok."
This new
manga has everything fans of the genre could want, and with the names involved,
it promises to be a hit. We'll be eagerly awaiting the finale!
- " I don't know
what's going to happen, but I just have expectations ."
- " This time, I
hope they manage to land it well ."
- " Sensei Akasaka
Aka, are you now bringing in the art director for Shuumatsu no
Walküre ...? "
- " Is the
protagonist Rapunzel? With Oshi no Ko , I feel like it won't be
a typical fairy tale story ."
- « March Crown by
Akasaka Aka. It was as if Kuga Shigeaki suddenly appeared while watching a
Disney movie . »
- " It's not exactly
what I expected, but since I thought they were going to do something, I
was able to read it fairly calmly until the end. I want to
read a full volume to judge ."
- « A little bit, I feel
like I want to wait and read everything to the end without rushing .
»
- " Please don't
leave everything behind at the end ."
- « As I read March Crown
cautiously, things really took a turn I had already anticipated .»
- « The new manga, March
Crown, appears to be a sort of fantasy counter to the Brothers Grimm fairy
tales, which is actually a bit of a departure from what's expected. That
alone might be commonplace in this day and age, so a lot will depend on
how the direction is handled going forward .»
