As we mentioned in a previous news
story ,
following the conclusion of " TRIGUN STAMPEDE " and
the announcement of a "Final Phase" on the way, the official title of
the new series was revealed to be " TRIGUN STARGAZE ."
Now, we finally have more details about this highly anticipated project, including
a 2026 premiere date and a new promotional visual.
Additionally,
it was confirmed that Masako Sato ( known for her work
on "Anima Yell!" and "Haikyu!! To The Top" ) will
be directing the anime at Studio Orange. Scriptwriter Takehiko
Oki returns from "TRIGUN STAMPEDE" to write the original
story, while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu ( Girls' Last Tour, Is
the order a rabbit?, Do It Yourself!! ) will be writing and
supervising the scripts. Kouji Tajima returns as character designer and
concept artist, and Kiyotaka Oshiyama ( Look Back )
joins as character designer for animation.
The
statement also included messages from director Masako Sato and voice
actor Yoshitsugu Matsuoka , who plays Vash the Stampede:

this installment. Since STAMPEDE’s shocking ending, many will be wondering

determination goes beyond what can be described with those words. He’s a
man of unwavering conviction, and no matter how his story ends, I hope
you’ll stay with him until the very end. In STARGAZE, his environment
changes completely, so even for those familiar with the manga, his
expression of emotions will be difficult to predict. But there is one
thing I can assure you: Vash is still Vash. That will never change, no
matter what. In this new installment, you will find incredibly epic scenes
