Good news
for fans of the manga " Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuuhai no
Aji ga Shite ( A Married Woman's Lips Taste Like Canned Chu-hai ) "! As mentioned in a previous press
release ,
the manga will have an anime adaptation in 2025, but now we have more details
that will excite followers of this story even more!
The
series will premiere in the Summer 2025 period (July-September) on Japanese
television, and the promotional visual, voice cast, and production team have
already been revealed. The anime tells the story of Tuyoshi, a college student with a
fondness for canned alcoholic beverages who encounters various "married
women" with complex backstories, giving rise to an omnibus-style plot.
In the key
visual, we can see Yui Kuriyama, one of the main characters' wives, holding a
can of chuhai with Tuyoshi's image on it. As for the voice cast, Takahide
Ishii will be playing Tuyoshi, while Shiho Kawaragi will be playing Yui
Kuriyama, Tuyoshi's aunt, a beautiful woman in her thirties , with an
excellent sense of care and an enviable figure.
The
anime will be produced by Raiose, and the production team includes Kazuma Ikeda
(桂馬一)
as director and in charge of the series , Riko Karei (枯井頼子) as character designer and in
charge of the color palette, Tomohiro Hayashi (林朋宏) as photography and editing
supervisor, and Fumihiko Ootera (大寺文彦) as sound director. They have also shared some
comments about their work in the production.
