A press
release listed that Takuma Yokota 's manga , " Story
of the Useless Public Morals Committeeman and the High School Girl With
Inappropriate Skirt Length ( Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take
ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi )", is getting an anime
adaptation. The release included a special visual to celebrate the
announcement, as well as a commentary from director Daiji Iwanaga ( The
Night Beyond the Tricornered Window ), who is helming the
project at Zero-G Studios:
- « I'm Iwanaga, the
director of the anime "Ponkotsu Fuuki Iin to Skirt-take ga
Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi ". It's a very lively show with unique
characters, full of charm. The everyday comedies and romantic
entanglements are all designed to be colorful and pop. The anime is full
of interesting moments, so stay tuned to see which episodes will be
adapted, what Tsukishima will be like when he leaves the library, and what
the rap battle will be like! We're working to make it a show that
"everyone can enjoy and laugh," so I'd love for as many people

For his
part, Takuma Yokota began publishing the manga through Kodansha 's Monthly
Shonen Sirius magazine in March 2019. Previously, the author was in
charge of other works such as " Onanie Master Kurosawa ",
" Chikan Otoko ", " Subete no Jinrui wo
Hakai suru. Sorera wa Saisei Dekinai. ", and " Sesuji
wo Pin! to: Shikakou Kyougi Dance-bu e Youkoso ", to name a few.

Sakuradaimon is the school prefect. A prefect is a student empowered to enforce
discipline. As a prefect, he's supposed to be a role model for the other
students, but sadly, he's not perfect. Kohinata is one of the people
Sakuradaimon has tried to discipline into wearing the proper school uniform,
but so far, she's been disobedient. This is a story about the interaction
between the two.
