year's latest issue of Shonengahosha 's Young King
Bull magazine , it was reported that Yuji Shiozaki 's
manga " Shin Ikki Tousen " will resume in
the April 21 issue , after being suspended since last year.
For his
part, Yuji Shiozaki began publishing the manga " Shin
Ikki Tousen " in Shonengahosha 's Young
King Ours magazine in November 2015, and transferred it to Young
King Bull in August 2024. The work has already inspired an anime
adaptation of just three episodes, which premiered in May 2022 in Japan.
On the
other hand, the original manga " Ikki Tousen ", has
inspired four anime adaptations and no less than five OVAs. " Ikki
Tousen: Western Wolves " was the most recent adaptation of the
original manga, and was released in physical format in Japan in February 2019,
after a three-episode broadcast in Winter-2019 (January-March) .
Synopsis

The
reincarnation of Himiko, the former queen of Yamatai, has decided to declare
war on all magatama wielders in Kanto. To reclaim her lost kingdom, she must
gather the true Three Sacred Treasures of Japan. When Himiko's ally, Asaemon
Yamada, ruthlessly attacks Nanyou Academy—which possesses the sacred sword
Himiko seeks—Chuubou Sonken, Hakufu Sonsaku's new sister, awakens her dragon
but loses consciousness.
Determined
to save her sister, Hakufu must retrieve her magatama from Jofuku Shrine—a
legendary place where she will undergo training that could cost her her life.
As the lines between the living and the dead begin to blur in Jofuku, the
warriors of the Kanto region will have to unite to thwart Himiko's mysterious
plans.
