On the
official website for the anime adaptation of Shuuhei Miyazaki 's
manga " Boku to Roboco ", a new promotional video
for the upcoming film in the franchise was revealed. The video confirms
that the premiere is scheduled for April 18 in Japanese theaters ,
and shows a fragment of the main theme song titled " Lolilokkyun
Robo " and performed by Ano .
For his
part, Shuuhei Miyazaki began publishing the manga
through Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine
in July 2020. The first season of the anime adaptation premiered in December
2022 in Japan, with each episode lasting only five minutes each.
Synopsis
of Boku to Roboco
Robotic
OrderMaids are popping up in every home, and 10-year-old Bondo Taira has
discovered that his two closest friends—Motsuo and Gachi Gorilla—also have
OrderMaids. Motsuo, in particular, owns Meico, a beautiful robot who gives
excellent massages and serves drinks with a smile. Jealous of his friend, Bondo
convinces his mother to get him an OrderMaid, hoping to have a similar
experience.
However,
to Bondo's surprise, the maid who appears outside his door is incredibly
muscular and so clumsy that she destroys a house while performing simple tasks.
Named Roboko, this new robot is the complete opposite of what Bondo wanted. But
despite that, Bondo, along with his friends, learns that there's more to Roboko
than they could have ever hoped for.
