As we mentioned earlier , director Sung Hoo Park 's original anime " Bullet / Bullet " will premiere on July 16 in Japan with its first eight episodes available exclusively through Disney Plus . The remaining episodes, from 9 to 12, will be available starting August 13 . But now new and interesting details have been revealed that raise expectations for this ambitious production even further.

The production team recently released the first official promotional video, which features a preview of the main theme song "WORK HARD," performed by Japanese rapper Chanmina. They also surprised fans by announcing that the series will also be re-released and shown in Japanese theaters as a two-part series. The singer commented on her participation:

  • "WORK HARD" was born last year when Director Park of BULLET/BULLET approached me directly to discuss the project. When approaching the project, I was inspired by the concept of "working" and "having to work," and I wanted to express the importance of putting in effort and continuing to do so, as well as the importance of gaining the strength to overcome numerous trials. In a sense, it became a support song for myself, a song of encouragement for those who are working hard and pushing themselves every day, and at the same time a way for me to reflect on these past ten years in which I've been very busy and giving my all. I based it a bit on the setting of the anime, but I think I managed to create a song that remains true to myself. I personally love how it turned out!! Listen to WORK HARD and let's keep working hard together!

The first film will be titled " Dangan Shissou-hen " (Bullet Run arc) and will hit theaters on July 25 , while the second part, titled " Dangan Kessen-hen " (Bullet Final Battle arc), will premiere on August 15. This means that fans will have the chance to enjoy this story both via streaming and on the big screen, depending on their preference.

"Bullet/Bullet" is set in a post-apocalyptic near-future, where civilization has collapsed and the world has become a wasteland filled with danger. In this environment, people survive using relics from the past. The story follows Gear, a young man working in a junkyard, who teams up with Shirokuma, a gambling addict, and a peculiar robot model Qu-0213 with four distinct personalities, to run a "theft business" focused on recovering objects that were unjustly taken.

Everything changes when a mysterious girl named Noa asks Gear to help her recover an object while being pursued by a killer. From then on, the group becomes the target of an armed organization, as they may have unwittingly stolen a secret capable of shaking the entire world. With a mix of action, science fiction, and a standout creative team, "Bullet/Bullet" promises to be one of the most explosive premieres of the summer. Will you watch the series on Disney Plus or will you be willing to experience it in the theater?
