The highly
anticipated anime adaptation of the light novel Apocalypse
Bringer Mynoghra: World Conquest Starts with the Civilization of Ruin has
confirmed that Rico Sasaki , who plays Emle in
the series, will also be performing the opening theme song , “Majestic
Catastrophe . ”
A
complete artist inside and outside of anime
The news
was announced on May 3 via the project's official social media
channels, accompanied by a message celebrating Sasaki's dual role as lead
vocalist and singer . The song will serve as the official opening for
the anime, which is scheduled to premiere in July 2025 in
Japan (August in Spain, depending on regional availability).

cast for a dark and tactical story

The
production is being handled by Maho Film Studio , under the
direction of Yūji Yanase , known for works such as If
It's for My Daughter and By the Grace of the Gods .
The script is in the hands of Yuka Yamada and Kunihiko
Okada , while the character designs are by Kaho Deguchi .
A
different isekai: conquest, destruction and strategy
The story
follows Takuto Ira , a young man who dies from an illness
and is reborn in his favorite video game , Eternal
Nations . He is revived not only within the game world, but as
the supreme god of the evil Mynoghra civilization .
Accompanied by the powerful heroic unit Atou , he must rebuild
his kingdom and face challenges with strategy and conquest mechanics.
This quirky
isekai blends dark fantasy elements with turn-based strategy game mechanics and
has gained popularity since its initial publication in 2017 on the Shōsetsuka
ni Narō website . Its eighth volume will go on sale on June 30 in
Japan.
An
expanding universe
In addition
to the light novel, the work has a manga adaptation drawn by Yasaiko
Midorihana , whose sixth compiled book volume was released on December
26. In the West, the novel and manga have been licensed by Cross
Infinite World and Yen Press respectively, gaining a
growing following outside of Japan.
With the
anime's premiere fast approaching, and an opening theme song performed by one
of its protagonists, Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra promises to
become one of the most intriguing titles of the summer of 2025
