A flower
that grows between insecurities
The story
revolves around Hana Tabata, a accommodated and lonely high school girl who
does not believe she is worthy of a shojo story. Everything changes when, one
morning, it is discovered by the popular Yousuke Ueno while exchanging flowers.
Its unexpected connection will begin a tender path of personal growth and
romance.
The
original manga was published in Mounthly Young Ace from April 2016 to September
2022, with a total of 12 compilation volumes. In March of this year, Sakura
launched a new special edition of the manga with additional content for fans.
The anime
will be broadcast on Tokyo MX and MBS on July 4 at 23:30 (local time in Japan),
which corresponds to 16:30 of the same day in Spain (UTC+2). BS NTV will
transmit it on July 5.
With its mix of emotion, youth insecurities and flowers as a symbol of change, April Showers Bring May Flowers promises to be one of the most sensitive bets of the summer season.
