From a
replacement to the protagonist of her own story?
The story
follows Marie, a young woman who always lived in the shadow of her older sister
in an impoverished home. Everything good went to her sister, while Marie was
left behind… even without a decent dress. When her sister was set to marry a
wealthy earl, a tragedy changes everything: her sister dies on the way. With
the dowry already spent, the family decides to send Marie as a substitute.
However, upon arrival, she discovers that it was all a misunderstanding... Will
she be able to win the heart of the handsome count or is she destined to live
without ever receiving anything good?
