The popular spin-off story from the Blue Lock universe, centering on the talented Seishirō Nagi, will hit the stage with a stage adaptation scheduled for November 20-30 at the G-Rosso Theater in the Tokyo Dome City complex. Tickets will be available from May 25 to June 15 (local Japan time).
The play is officially titled Butai "BLUELOCK" Episode Nagi and will once again be directed and written by Naohiro Ise, who has helmed previous installments of the Blue Lock stage project.

The theatrical phenomenon of Blue Lock Continues to Expand
This will be the fifth theatrical production in the franchise. The first play premiered in Osaka and Tokyo in May 2023. The second had performances in Kyoto and Tokyo in January 2024, while the third installment arrived in Osaka and Tokyo in August 2024. The fourth play is currently running in Tokyo until May 25 and will arrive in Osaka from May 30 to June 1.
About the Blue Lock - Episode Nagi Manga
The Blue Lock - Episode Nagi manga, written by Kōta Sannomiya, chronicles the events leading up to Nagi's entry into the Blue Lock facility. It began serialization in June 2022 in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine and will conclude with its eighth volume on August 12. Kodansha USA Publishing is handling print distribution outside of Japan.
From comics to film and now to theater
This spin-off also inspired an anime film that premiered in Japan in April 2024. In its opening weekend, the film sold 337,000 tickets and grossed over 463 million yen (approximately $2.99 million), ranking second at the Japanese box office. Its North American release took place in June 2024 and is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, with subtitles and dubbing in several languages.
