On May
15 , the 58th and final issue of the magazine Manga
Goraku Special , published by Nihonbungeisha , was
published . With this, the publisher concludes a phase that began in May
2013 under the name Weekly Manga Goraku Zōkan , and
which evolved in March 2014 with the current title after
absorbing the series of the defunct Bessatsu Manga Goraku .
From
paper to digital: the series continues on Goraku Web!
Along with
the magazine's closure, Nihonbungeisha announced that several of its ongoing
series are moving to its new free platform , Goraku Web! ,
which officially launched on March 28. This digital site not
only hosts the works from Manga Goraku Special , but also
merges content from its previous portal Goraku Web ! .

final chapter of Shūichi Sakabe 's "mitsusou" manga also appeared in
the latest issue . The fourth and final compiled book volume is
scheduled for release in mid-July .

transition to digital began in August 2020 , when the magazine
abandoned its print format due to changes in the manga market and
the need to adapt to new public demands . Three years later, Manga
Goraku Special 's final farewell leaves a legacy that lives on
online.
With this
change, Nihonbungeisha reaffirms its commitment to the digital format, ensuring
that its works remain accessible and relevant in an ever-evolving industry.
