The
official website for the anime The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the
Strongest revealed new promotional art on Monday, along with the addition of
Masumi Tazawa to the main cast. The actress will voice Clasia Annerose, a
character who promises to be key to the protagonist's journey.
The newly
released illustration shows Clasia with an elegant design and imposing
presence, generating great anticipation among fans of the anime adaptation of
the light novel series written by Alto and illustrated by Yuunagi.

to Tazawa, the cast already includes Shūichirō Umeda as Alec Yugret, the
protagonist of this story of magical redemption, and Yurika Kubo as Yorha
Eisentz, an old friend of the protagonist who reappears to offer him a new
opportunity.
A Story
of Magic and Revenge
The story
centers on Alec Yugret, a mage who specialized in supporting spells to aid the
crown prince on his dungeon expeditions. However, one day he is fired for being
deemed "useless" due to his non-offensive approach. Unemployed and
aimless, Alec receives a proposal from his friend Yorha to return to the
battlefield, embarking on a new path in search of recognition... and perhaps a
little revenge.

Details
The anime
will premiere in October 2025 and will be directed by Ken Takahashi
(Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!, Ragna Crimson) at Gekkō Studio, with Masamune Hirata serving as
assistant director. The scripts are by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Dropkick on My
Devil!), while Yōko Satō and Nobuhide Hayashi are in charge of
character design and animation direction.
The music
will be composed by Diosta Inc. and High Speed Boy Inc. The production team
also includes leading monster, weapon, and set designers, ensuring a rich and
immersive visual experience.
A
Growing Success
The
original story was published between October 2020 and September 2022 on the
Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform, while Kodansha has released five print volumes
since August 2021. The manga adaptation, drawn by Yuki Monji, began in July
2021 and already has 15 compiled volumes.
The English
version of the manga is available through Kodansha's K MANGA app, reflecting
the series' growing international popularity.
With a
combination of fantasy, tactical magic, and character development, The Banished
Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest is shaping up to be one of next
fall's most compelling offerings.
