The anime
adaptation of the light novel series A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai (Sozai
Saishuka no Isekai Ryokōki), written by Masuo Kinoko, has
revealed key new details ahead of its premiere in October 2025. The
production officially announced its main cast and the artist in charge of
the opening theme, who will be in charge of the musical duo Nornis.
A
leading trio led by Nobunaga Shimazaki
The
confirmed cast includes prominent voice actors who will bring the main
characters of this fantasy story to life:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Takeru, the protagonist who travels to another world.
- Ayasa Itō as Bee, one
of her mysterious companions.
- Makoto Koichi as Brolite, a
key figure in Takeru's new adventure.
The first
images of the characters have also been shared, generating great enthusiasm
among fans of the original novels.
An
industry-experienced production team
The series
is directed by Yoshinori Odaka (40-Shūnen da yo! Choir
All-Star Choir Shōgakkō) and will be produced by Tatsunoko
Production and Synergy SP studios. The script is in
charge of Gigaemon Ichikawa (Chikasugi Idol Akae-chan, Black
Torch), while the character design will be in the hands of Mayumi
Watanabe (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale).
The music
will be composed by Hiroshi Takaki, known for his work on
franchises such as Precure and AKB0048. General
production is handled by GENCO.
A
protagonist with unique abilities in a magical world
The story
revolves around Takeru Kamishiro, an ordinary office worker who is
transported to a fantastic world called Madeus, where magic and the
sword coexist. Equipped with powerful physical and magical abilities and a
unique ability to "search" for valuable items, Takeru sets out on a
challenging adventure in this new universe.
Thanks to
these cheat abilities, Takeru will be able to collect resources,
fight enemies and discover the secrets of Madeus, in a story that combines
action, humor and classic elements of the isekai genre.
An
award-winning novel, with great popularity and manga
Masuo
Kinoko released
the light novel on the AlphaPolis platform in December 2017.
Currently, the work has 16 volumes published until March 2025
and more than 1.73 million copies in circulation (including
digital format).
The series
won the grand prize and the audience award in the ninth
edition of the AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Prizes, consolidating
itself as one of the most outstanding titles on the portal. The manga
adaptation, illustrated by Tomozo, began publication in November
2018. AlphaPolis released the eighth compilation volume in August
2024. In addition, Alpha Manga publishes the series in
English for Western audiences.
