Cuisine and
anime combine in a delicious collaboration between the series Fermat
no Ryori and Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!.
Both productions, which will arrive on Japanese television this July, have
released a special illustration where the protagonists Gaku
and Atelier share cooking and knowledge, merging mathematics and
gastronomy in a unique scene.
Two
highly anticipated releases for July
Fermat
no Ryori is
scheduled to premiere on July 5 at 03:00 hours (UTC+2) within
the IMAnimation block of TV Asahi. The story centers on a
young prodigy chef who applies mathematical formulas to his cooking, redefining
the culinary art from a logical and scientific perspective.
The series
is directed by Kazuya Ichikawa at the Domerica studio,
who is also in charge of the composition and scripts. Character design is
by Takashi Okamoto and Satsuki Kashiwagi, who also
oversee the animation, while Satoshi Igarashi (TOKYO LOGIC)
composes the music.
For its
part, Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! will hit the screen
on July 3 at 9:00 p.m. (UTC+2) and will be available in
simulcast through Crunchyroll. The story revolves around a
restaurant that gives refuge to those marginalized from the world, offering
dishes that feed both the body and the soul.
This anime
is directed by Joji Shimura at OLM Team Yoshioka,
with a script by Deko Akao, character designs by Aoi Yamato,
and music by Masato Koda.
A
collaboration that whets the appetite
The collaborative
illustration shows the protagonists of both series sharing a moment in
the kitchen, with Gaku teaching Atelier the secrets of frying with mathematical
precision. This friendly interaction highlights each anime's unique approach to
the culinary world and sparks interest in its upcoming releases.
Without a
doubt, July will be a perfect month for anime and gastronomy lovers, with two
very different but equally tasty proposals.
