The
expected adaptation to the Anime of the Fermat No Ryōri by Yūgo Kobayashi has
revealed new details about its launch. The series will premiere on Friday, July
5 at 5:30 p.m. (Spain time) through the ASAHI TV channel and its subsidiaries,
as part of the Imanimation Night Programming Block.
Opening and
Ending by emerging artists
The opening
theme will be "Maillard", played by the solo artist Oshikikeigo. For
its part, the male group of six members Dxteen will be in charge of the ending,
entitled "Change over".
A promising
cast for a unique story
The story
follows Gaku Kita, a young prodigy in mathematics who, after seeing his dream
of becoming a mathematician, meets Kai Asakura, an equally talented chef who
directs his own food business. Together, they will seek a new direction that
unites exact science with culinary art.
A manga
with millions of readers
Fermat No
Ryōri began its publication in September 2018 in the Mountly Shonen Magazine
magazine in Kodansha. To date, five compilation volumes have been launched,
with more than 23 million copies in circulation.
Author Yūgo
Kobayashi is also known by Manga Aoashi, winner of the 65th Shagakukan Award
for Best General Manga, which received an anime adaptation in 2022. His second
season is scheduled to be released in 2026.
With an
original story that fuses logic and passion for kitchen, Fermat No Ryōri is
emerging as one of the freshest proposals of the season.
