A few days
before its long-awaited premiere, the Hotel Inhumans anime
revealed a new promotional trailer and visual image of
the first episode, titled "Request: Sister, Sister". The
big surprise is the addition of voice actor Koki Uchiyama (known
for his role as Shigaraki in My Hero Academia), who will play Xiao,
an assassin who longs to reunite with his sister lost years ago.
A story
of death, secrets and reunions
The
premiere episode will air in Japan on Saturday, July 6, and will be
available in simulcast through Crunchyroll in Spain time
(UTC+2). The narrative revolves around Xiao, a character who mixes lethal
coldness with a deeply emotional undertone, and whose story promises to set the
tone for the beginning of the series.
A hotel
for criminals... and something else
Hotel
Inhumans is
set in a mysterious accommodation located on the border of life and death. In
this peculiar place two janitors work: Ikuro Hoshi and Sara
Haizaki. Its clientele is made up of murderers and criminals who arrive
with very particular requests: from obtaining elite weapons to erasing
identities or disappearing incriminating evidence.
The anime
is directed by Tetsuro Amino (Shiki, Iwakakeru:
Sport Climbing Girls), produced by the Bridge studio and
scripted by Shoji Yonemura (Wave, Listen to Me!). The
character designs are signed by Shingo Fujisaki, while the music is
composed by Koharu, a member of the duo CHARAN-PO-RANTAN. The
original story comes from the manga created by Ao Tajima.
A
premiere that is awaited with high expectations
With an
approach that mixes crime, drama, and action, Hotel Inhumans aims
to become one of the most talked-about anime of the season. Koki Uchiyama's
participation in its first episode is just the beginning of what promises to be
a parade of dark and complex characters, in a world where the deepest desires
intersect with the bloodiest works.
