Along with this trailer, it was also confirmed that the premiere is scheduled for sometime in 2026.

Ayaka Nanase will be the voice of Flum Apricot

The production already has its first voice actress confirmed: Ayaka Nanase, known for her role as Yoshino in Sakura Quest, will play the protagonist Flum Apricot. The rest of the production team has not yet been announced, so more information is expected in the coming months.

From web novel to anime with cursed sword and romance

The original story was born as a web novel published by Kiki in January 2018 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform. Later, it was acquired by Micro Magazine under the GC Novels label. In the West, Seven Seas Entertainment distributes both the light novels and the manga adaptation illustrated by Sunao Minakata.

What is the ROLL OVER AND DIE anime about?

The plot is set in a world threatened by the Demon Lord, where a group of heroes is chosen by divine design to face him. Among them is Flum Apricot, a girl with no apparent offensive abilities, whose power called "Reversal" seems useless. After being betrayed and sold into slavery, her destiny changes drastically when she comes into contact with a cursed sword. With the help of his partner Milkit, Flum undertakes a struggle to regain his freedom and find an ordinary life, thus unleashing the true potential of his gift.

With a dark premise, girl-to-girl romance and intense battles, ROLL OVER AND DIE aims to become one of the most talked-about titles of the year of its release. The first trailer hints at an animation full of drama and action, while its focus on self-improvement and the emotional bond between the protagonists promises to capture both yuri fans and those looking for stories with emotional weight.
