The anime
adaptation of Kyōsuke Nishiki's Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right (Chanto
Suenai Kyūketsuki-chan) manga has released its first promotional video, piquing
fans' curiosity with its combination of comedy, cuteness, and supernatural
elements. The premiere is scheduled for sometime in 2025.
The story
follows Luna Ishikawa, a young vampire who transfers to Kashinokidai High
School in the hopes of starting a more normal life... although she has one
small problem: she's terrible at sucking blood! Things get complicated when
Tatsuta Ōtori, a classmate, discovers her secret and decides to become her
peculiar "Mom" to help her practice.
A creative
team with experience in cute comedies
The series
will be produced by feel., with Sayaka Yamai (Dungeon People, Fantasy Bishōjo
Juniku Ojisan to) directing. The script will be written by Yuniko Ayana, known
for her work on BanG Dream! and Given, while the character designs will be by
Takuya Tani (Muv-Luv Alternative).
The music
will be composed by Tomoki Kikuya (Hidamari Sketch) and produced by Lantis. The
sound direction will be Ryōsuke Naya, and the sound production will be handled
by Studio Mausu.

The manga
is also coming to the West
The
original manga began serialization in May 2021 in KADOKAWA's Monthly Dragon Age
magazine. Starting June 20, it will be available digitally in English through
BookWalker Global and other platforms.
Additionally,
Yen Press will release the first physical volume on July 22. The story has been
described as a charming comedy of contrasts, where a clumsy little vampire
tries to become a true creature of the night... if she can overcome her
"drinking problem"!
With an
adorable style, romantic touches, and plenty of absurd humor, Li'l Miss Vampire
Can't Suck Right is poised to become one of the most anticipated comedies of
2025.
