The official X account (formerly Twitter) of the anime The Beginning After The End has announced two new additions to the cast. Gen Sato will voice Elijah Knight, while Shōya Chiba will play Lucas Wykes. Both characters will make their first appearance in episode 12, which marks the closing of the first season and will air on Wednesday, June 19.

A story of reincarnation, magic and challenges

The anime is based on the web novel by American author TurtleMe, who also acts as the story supervisor and executive producer of the project. The story follows King Grey, a powerful monarch who, after his death, is reborn as Arthur Leywin in a world full of magic and mythical creatures. As he grows up, he discovers his new purpose while facing threats, developing his power, and surrounding himself with unexpected allies.

An international phenomenon

The franchise is published in seven languages and accumulates more than 61.8 million reads between the novel and the webcomic, which can be read on Tapas.
