Japanese
singer ChouCho, recognized for her work in Fate/kaleid
liner Prisma Illya and GIRLS und PANZER, has released
the music video for her new track "Hikari Sasu Tobira", a
song that serves as the ending theme for the summer
anime Scooped Up by an S-Ranked Adventurer. The video is now
available through its official YouTube channel.
A theme
for everyday moments
The
song "Hikari Sasu Tobira" was released digitally
on July 11, and according to ChouCho herself, it was written with a
very specific intention:
"For this ending I was asked
to focus on the everyday aspects of the story, those that are not shown so much
in the main plot. That's why I wrote a happy song, which conveys relief. I
thought of the lyrics as speaking directly to the protagonist, including a
positive message that can support those who are worried or anxious. It would
make me happy if each episode leaves a warm feeling in the viewer."
About
Scooped Up by an S-Ranked Adventurer
The anime
adaptation of the light novel series written by Sora Suigetsu and
illustrated by DeeCHA premiered in Japan on July 10,
2025 (Japanese time), and is being streamed globally by Crunchyroll,
including in Europe, Latin America, and other regions.
The story
follows Lloyd, a white wizard who was unjustly expelled from the
hero's group. Disoriented, he ends up joining a group of S-rank adventurers
who desperately need a mage for support. What no one expected is that, after
his departure, the hero's group would fall apart and Lloyd would become a
legend. Thus begins the story of a humble but powerful support wizard who will
change the world of adventurers.
With a
fantastic and emotional setting, and now accompanied by ChouCho's soft and
hopeful ending, the anime promises to capture both action and deep emotions in
each episode.
