Official synopsis to know the series

During the Edo period, a priestess named Itsukihime resides in the mountainous village of Kadono. Jinta, a wandering orphan who, together with his younger sister Suzune, was taken in by the community, also lives there. Jinta becomes the protector of the priestess and ventures into the forest to confront a mysterious demon who tells him of the distant future and the threat of a Demon God.

Thus begins this supernatural historical fantasy that follows the path of a demon hunter through the centuries, from the Edo period to the Heisei, while questioning the weight of the sword he wields.
