Publisher
Kadokawa revealed
that the manga Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right (Chanto
Suenai Kyūketsuki-chan), created by Kyōsuke Nishiki, will
officially conclude with its next chapter on August 8, 2025, in the
September issue of Monthly Dragon Age magazine. This manga has
won over readers with a mix of supernatural comedy and cuteness, starring a
young vampire with more insecurities than sharp fangs.
A
vampire with trouble biting
The story
revolves around Luna Ishikawa, a student who tries to maintain
a dark and mysterious vampire image in front of her
classmates. However, the reality is very different: Luna is short, clumsy and
has serious problems sucking blood like a true creature of the night.
Everything
gets complicated when Tatsuta Ootori, her classmate, discovers her
little "drinking problem" and decides to help her. Can he turn her
into a fearsome vampire, or will she remain a shy adorable creature?
Publications
and anime adaptation
The manga
was originally released in May 2021 and to date has eight
compilation volumes, the last of which was published on April 9.
In addition, Kadokawa publishes the chapters in digital format
through BookWalker Global and other platforms, starting this
modality on June 20.
Yen
Press has
licensed the work for distribution in English, and will release the first
volume in print on July 22. In addition, it has been confirmed
that Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right will have a
television anime adaptation, scheduled to premiere later this year.
With this, fans will be able to continue enjoying Luna's adventures beyond the
manga.
