Last Friday,
July 26, Shinnosuke Kanazawa's official X (formerly
Twitter) account announced that his On and Off: Work-Life Imbalance manga
will go on an extended hiatus due to schedule adjustments.
Although the main series will be taking a break, Kanazawa will continue to
share illustrations and updates from his other work, Gojū Nen-Go no
Rōjin Home (Nursing Homes 50 Years From Now).
A very
fun look at work and personal life
This book,
published in English by Manga UP!, tells the story of two office
workers whose lives at work and outside of it could not be more different.
While one dresses in lolita style, the other bets on a punk look.
When their "on" and "off" modes collide, comical and
energetic situations arise.

Kanazawa career and publications
Kanazawa began publishing this manga
in April 2023 via Twitter, and a month later began
serialization in pixiv. Square Enix released the
fourth compiled volume on June 20.
In
addition, the author is known for his manga Ottoman, which was
published in Shueisha's Young Jump magazine
from August 2021 until the release of its fifth and final
volume in November 2022. The publisher Udon Entertainment has
distributed the series in English, starting with the first volume in February
2023.
