The Plus-sized
anime adaptation Misadventures in Love!, based on mamakari's popular
manga, has released its first official trailer, confirming the main cast, the
release date in Japan, and new production details.
The series
will air from October 6 at 4:00 p.m. (Spanish time), and will
feature the voices of Aya Endo as Yumeko Koda and Yuma
Uchida as Keisuke Yuki. In addition, Uchida will perform
the closing theme titled "Watashi de Yokatta!!."
An
unexpected transformation begins this story
The story
follows Yumeko, a woman who struggles with her insecurities and
complexes. Everything changes after an accident that leaves her on the verge of
death. When she wakes up, she discovers that she has changed drastically: she
is now incredibly attractive. Her new appearance and positive attitude not only
impact those around her, but also begin to transform her environment
completely. With romance, work, friendships, and even an assassination attempt
at stake, this frenetic comedy promises intense emotions and heartwarming moments.

world-class creative team
The anime
will be directed by Kazuomi Koga (known for Rent-a-Girlfriend)
at the Marvy Jack studio. The series is composed by Aya
Watatane, the character design is by Atsuko Takahashi, and the
soundtrack will be composed by Satoshi Hono (Tales of
Wedding Rings) and Kaori Nakano.
