The
long-awaited film Aikatsu! x PriPara: Deai no Kiseki!, which
celebrates the 10th anniversary of both idol franchises,
finally has a release date. The feature film will hit theaters in Japan
on October 10, 2025, as recently announced along with a new
promotional image, the full cast, additional production team and the main theme
songs.
The main
image shows the protagonists of both universes: the group Luminas —composed
of Akari Ōzora, Sumire Hikami and Hinaki
Shinjo of Aikatsu!— and the trio SoLaMi SMILE —formed
by Laala Manaka, Mirei Minami and Sophie
Hōjō of PriPara.

A decade
of idol history
The film
commemorates the 10th anniversary of the release of the Aikatsu! and PriPara sagas,
both debuting in 2014. The film will be directed by Takahiro Ōkawa (Aikatsu
on Parade!) under BN Pictures, with a screenplay by Michihiro
Tsuchiya and character designs by Hiroko Yaguchi and Shōji
Hara.
Distribution
will be handled by Bandai Namco Pictures and Avex
Pictures, while Tatsunoko Production will handle the 3D CG
side. The story will also feature Shino Shimoji as Akari
Ōzora and Himika Akenaya as Laala Manaka.
This
long-awaited crossover promises to be an unforgettable tribute to fans of both
franchises, bringing together generations of idols on the same stage for the
first time.
