The
official site of the anime Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, an adaptation
of Iro Aida's manga, revealed a new addition to the cast for the second part of
the second season: Ryōka Yuzuki will play Sumire.

part of the season on air
This sequel
began airing on July 6 on TBS and its affiliate
channels, with episodes airing on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. JST (Japan
time). The opening is performed by Masayoshi Ōishi with the
theme Kagome Kagome, while the ending is performed by Akari
Kitō with mo∞ent.

Details and Layout
The second
season started on January 12 and is available on Crunchyroll
with Spanish subtitles and English dubbing. The direction was taken over
by Yōhei Fukui in Lerche, replacing Masaomi Andō, director of
the first season. Yasuhiro Nakanishi returns to the project as
screenwriter and Mayuka Itou as character designer.
Spin-off
and anime background
The After-School
spin-off Hanako-kun debuted with a four-episode short on October
7, 2023, keeping the original cast and crew. The main project restarted in
2022, after the first season premiered in January 2020 with 12 episodes, which
had English dubbing via Funimation.
