Hobby Japan
has announced that its fantasy light novel series A Livid Lady's Guide
to Getting Even: How I Crushed My Homeland with My Mighty Grimoires will
be adapted into an anime format. At the moment, no details
have been revealed about the staff, cast, format or release
date.

under the HJ Novels imprint, the novels are written by Hagure
Metabo and illustrated by masami, with a total of 7
volumes in Japan to date. The English version is distributed by J-Novel
Club.
What
will the anime be about?
The story
follows Elizabeth Leiston, daughter of the influential prime
minister and future queen of the Kingdom of Haldoria. Her life
takes an unexpected turn when her fiancé publicly breaks off their engagement,
she is imprisoned and malicious rumors begin to circulate about her. With the
help of her loyal maid Mireille and her own inner fury,
Elizabeth decides not to sacrifice herself any longer for a country that
despises her, and sets out to take revenge on those who betrayed her.
Armed
with seven powerful magical grimoires, this ruthless lady will not
hesitate to use them to bring down the kingdom that humiliated her.
