Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out for Revenge shared on August
26 a main trailer that shows new scenes and reveals the
opening theme performed by singer-songwriter Tei.
The trailer
includes the voices of the characters Mei (Ikumi
Hasegawa), Nasuna (Hana Hishikawa), Aoyuki (Shiori
Izawa), Ellie (Ayumi Mano), Nemumu (Yuko
Natsuyoshi) and Gold (Katsuya Miyamoto), as well as
highlighting the strength of the opening song.
Tei and
his return to the anison
Tei, also known as Tei Hinoto in
her role as a songwriter, has been active in the industry under different
names. In the field of anime, he has participated in productions such as Tsurune (2023), The
Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash (2024) and Unnamed
Memory (2024). Their new track will be released digitally on October
4.
The artist
commented that she sought to reflect in the song the determination and
desire for revenge of Light, the protagonist, as well as the strength
necessary to guide the story beyond simple empathy. "I hope this song
reinforces the heart of the plot," he said.
Premiere
and production details
The anime
will premiere in Japan on October 3, 2025 (04:00 on October 4
in Spain) and adapts the series of light novels written by Shisui
Meikyo and illustrated by tef. Production is in charge
of J.C.STAFF under the direction of Katsushi Sakurabi,
with series composition by Hiroshi Onogi, character designs
by Yukie Suzuki and music by Ryo Takahashi. The
sound design will be in the hands of Yoshikazu Iwanami.
Brief
Synopsis of the History
The story
follows Light, who is betrayed and expelled by his former comrades
from the "Concord of the Tribes". On the verge of death, he ends up
at the bottom of the Abyss, the most dangerous dungeon in the
kingdom. There he discovers that his magical ability, the Unlimited
Gacha, can now summon level 9999 warriors. The first to appear is Mei,
a powerful fighter dressed as a maid.
Over the
course of three years, Light builds her own kingdom in the depths of the
dungeon and gathers an army of loyal warriors. Now a level 9999
Overlord, he prepares to return to the surface and exact his revenge on
those who betrayed him.
