The
official site of the new animated adaptation of the manga Cat's Eye,
the work of Tsukasa Hojo (City Hunter), shared
its main trailer, where the two musical themes performed by the
singer Ado are revealed.
The artist
will be responsible for both the ending theme song "CAT'S
EYE" (a cover of the opening theme of the original 1983-1984
anime, performed at the time by Anri), and the opening theme
titled "Magic," a completely new song written
by Tsumiki in a retro pop style.
Ado's
words and premiere on Disney Plus
In a
message to fans, Ado expressed his excitement: "This time I
performed 'CAT'S EYE' as the ending one, in addition to being in charge of the
opening. I feel very honored. 'Magic' is a retro pop track that will make your
heart dance, something different from my previous songs. Let's enjoy this anime
together!"
The anime
will premiere on Disney Plus under its Star brand, releasing
episodes 1 to 6 on September 26, 2025, while episodes 7 to
12 will arrive from December 26, premiering one per week.
