The Duel
Masters universe continues to expand. This week the new manga
entitled Duel Masters GT -Gear of the Twin heart-, a story written
by Hiroki Kikuzuma and illustrated by Daisuke Kawasaki,
has been officially launched. The announcement was made last Tuesday through
the official X account (formerly Twitter) of Shogakukan's Weekly
CoroCoro Comic magazine, and the manga began publication on
Wednesday, August 6.
This new
installment focuses on the Dragon Saga card saga, focusing on Grassa
and Turret, the twin sons of the legendary Dragon Ruler Glenmalt.
The plot promises to immerse readers in intense duels and conflicts marked by
the legacy of blood and fire of the protagonists.
Duel
Masters LOST also continues to expand
In addition
to this new release, the franchise has more surprises in store for its fans. A
new manga and anime series has been confirmed under the title Duel
Masters LOST ~Bōkyaku no Taiyō~, indicating that the DUEL MASTERS
LOST project is still underway with new stories to explore.
Recall that
the Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ manga (translated
as "The Moon Reaper"), written by Shigenobu Matsumoto and Yō
Kanebayashi, began publication on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website
in August 2024, concluding on February 27, 2025.
History made it clear that there will be a third part on the way, cementing
this arc as one of the most ambitious in the franchise. The second and final
compilation volume was published on March 28.
The Duel
Masters LOST anime also had its ending
The
animated adaptation of Duel Masters LOST ~Gekka no Shinigami~ came
to an end on February 28, 2025, with the broadcast of its fourth
and final episode. This series was the direct follow-up to both the
Duel Masters manga and web anime LOST: Tsuioku no Suishō (Crystal of
Remembrance), and is an integral part of the ambitious LOST multimedia
project that seeks to renew the Duel Masters universe for a new
generation.
