Shueisha's Weekly
Shonen Jump magazine revealed that its digital manga platform Jump
TOON will premiere five new series between late August and early
September. In addition, it was confirmed that Naoya Matsumoto's popular Kaiju
No. 8 will receive a full-color, vertical-reading version starting September
1.

Among the
new proposals, original stories and recognized authors within the sector stand
out. These are the confirmed series:
- Seirei Meikyū no Shinen wo
Koete (Beyond
the Abyss of the Spirit Labyrinth) by Nora Kohigashi (story)
and Moa – Premiere: August 28.
- Satsujin Reijō Charlotte (Murderous Lady
Charlotte) by Ko Hiratori (story) and Lemon
Natsume (art) – Premiere: August 30.
- Watashi
no Naka ni Keikoku no Akujo ga Imasu ga, Zettai ni Kuni wa Horoboshimasen! (There is a Beautiful Evil

Authors
with a track record
The writers
and artists involved already have previous experience in the industry. Ko
Hiratori, for example, was the author of the manga JK Haru Is a Sex
Worker in Another World, while Ononata published the light
novel Reincarnated as a 15-Year-Old Queen, which later got a manga
adaptation. For his part, Kohigashi is known for the
play I Could Never Be a Succubus!, available in English thanks to
J-Novel Club.
Kaiju
No. 8 Continues to Expand
The Kaiju
No. 8 manga, which concluded on July 18, debuted on Shonen
Jump+ in 2020 and quickly became an international phenomenon.
Published in English by Viz Media and available on MANGA
Plus under the title Monster #8, the work already has an
anime adaptation. Its first season premiered in April 2024, while the second
arrived on July 19, 2025. In addition, the franchise is preparing a
video game titled Kaiju No. 8 the Game, which will be released
on August 31 for iOS, Android and PC via Steam.
