Ami Toma will give voice to the dreamy protagonist

Actress Ami Toma will play Fujiko. Toma has recently gained popularity for his role as Meguru Aizawa in the drama Chihayafuru: Full Circle and for voicing Kokoro Anzai in the film Lonely Castle in the Mirror. The plot centers on two Japanese girls: Fujiko, who longs to be a painter, and Chizuru, who is passionate about ballet. The two meet by chance in Yokohama, but fate will reunite them in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. There, between lights, art and challenges, they will join forces not to give up on their dreams.

The ARVO Animation studio will be in charge of animating this work. The direction is in charge of Goro Taniguchi, with an original idea shared with Katsuya Kondo. The script is written by Reiko Yoshida (The Colors Within), while Yu Yamashita (Pompo: The Cinéphile) is in charge of character design for the animation. The soundtrack will be composed by Takayuki Hattori (Martian Successor Nadesico).
