After the
recent premiere of Let's Go Karaoke!, the next work by author Yama
Wayama to receive anime adaptation already has a date and a new
advance. Captivated, By You will premiere on August 21,
and its latest trailer not only shows off new scenes, but also features a
snippet of its opening theme "Rubble," performed
by Keina Suda.

The series
is directed by Asami Nakatani at the Doga Kobo studio,
with Yukiko Tsukahara as assistant director. The script is in
charge of Yoshimi Narita, while Mai Matsuura is in
charge of the character design and Takuro Ida composes the
music. The original manga is published in English by Yen Press.
Like Let's
Go Karaoke!, the series will be available on Crunchyroll as
part of its anime programming for summer 2025.
Synopsis
of Captivated, By You
The story
unfolds in a format of independent stories that explore different shades of
youth. In one of them, Joji Ema, a student at a boys' school,
begins to notice strange behavior in his eccentric classmate Miyoshi
Hayashi after the sports festival.
In
another, Yuichi Medaka, who attends a co-ed high school, ends up
sitting behind Akira Nikaido, a disturbing student who is little
loved by his classmates.

confirmed to take place right after the karaoke competition and will premiere
once all five episodes of Captivated, By You have aired.
