The illustration conveys a nostalgic air and reinforces the theme of the work, which explores the complex relationship between childhood friends and the feelings that arise over time.

Manga Details and Anime Production

The original manga, written by Shinya Misu, has been published since March 2022 on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app, accumulating 16 compilation volumes to date. The anime is being produced by Tezuka Productions and is scheduled to premiere in Japan in 2026. For now, no further details about its broadcast have been released.

Romantic comedy with unexpected twists

The story follows Eeyuu, a high school student who lives a dilemma: his two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, have become too attractive girls. Although they don't show romantic intentions, he fears they'll find that he can't help but see them differently now that they've grown up. However, both Shio and Akari also keep their own secrets. Thus begins a romantic comedy of entanglements marked by tenderness, tension and a peculiar love triangle.
